Thanks...
First of all... God, for giving me this gift and the motivation to push myself. I know it is a gift, because I don't even know how it happens. You start a picture and it looks terrible for hours, then you look down and it has become a decent picture. IT'S A MIRACLE! My parents, who do anything that I ask of them, and help Yvonne take up my slack when I am busy. I couldn't ask for better parents or friends. I'm glad I picked them. My lovely, ornery wife, Yvonne who takes care of me and puts up with my attitude when I don't even have time to look up(I'm a pain when things don't go my way). I'm glad God sent her because the evidence proves that I am not bright enough to pick someone on my own. Michael, who has supplied friendship and a place to work when I need a change of environment or a hiding place. My friends at work(victims) who have supported me and put up with my nonstop soliciting of advice and opinions. Donita and Gary for helping me get started and offering nonstop support. Everyone that has offered support and encouragement along this road. I don't have the space, the time, or the ability to put into words the heartfelt gratitude that I feel for everyone that has helped me. Whether it was bending over backwards to help me get started, with an "atta boy" when I did good, or just an honest opinion ("that looks terrible. If this was a contest to see who could throw the most random crap at a piece of paper, you would definitely win."). I appreciate you (well, except for the quoted honest opinion maybe). There are several who really believe in me and push my work. Kelly L., Andria M., Melinda R., Donita W.(mean thing!), Pam S.(thanks cuz'), and so many more. There are several artists... Chuck Jones (who makes me work harder because my work looks like finger paintings by comparison). Bob Shymkus (who's work just shines!), and Dianne Hargis (your art work and attitude have long inspired me. Thanks for your prayers and support.) Randall Rose-web designer extraordinare I had the privilege of meeting this young man during the recent commissioning of a painting and I was impressed. I feel that often young people do not understand hard work. As parents we have often gotten away from teaching this concept to our children . This boy works! Randall started setting up web sites as a hobby and recently started his own web design business. He combines that with, hosting two web sites(corvettemaster.com, and inspired2innovate.com) working two jobs and going to school. He has set up a number of web sites in the last year or so. The web design business was long overdue. I notified several designers before speaking with Randall and I couldn't touch his prices or the quality of his work. I believe I have found a friend. I know there are many more that I should have listed. I didn't forget
you, nor will I. Thanks to all for their support.
